You’re an immortal, sexless, ball of slime. You have nothing to do but find ways to pass the time until time stops.

You’re a ball of slime. A clean ball of slime. Your surface, while not shiny enough to fairly call it a mirror, is smooth and clear enough to reflect enough to see your own surface staring back at you.

You don’t have a gender; you’re not even sure what that means. You’ve never experienced gender.

You’re immortal. You’ll never die, not even if you kill yourself, of old age.

You live in a universe that is also immortal; it will never die. It will never end.

The extent of your interaction with the world is your perception of the universe before you.

You are capable of perceiving yourself.

You have no sense of touch, you have no sense of smell, you have no sense of taste. You have no sense of hearing. The only thing you can do is see your way through life.

You may look ahead of you and see the universe before you, and you may look at your own surface. That is all you can do.

You have been alive for some amount of time. You’re not sure how long. All you know is, from the moment you became alive, you’ve been bored. You’re bored as much as you are capable of being bored, and you have been bored for as long as you can remember; you have no memory of ever not being bored.

You have nothing to do with your life but look in front of you, look back at yourself, and pass the time. What do you do?

You may not kill yourself. You cannot kill yourself. You have no desire to kill yourself. All you care about is passing the time.

What do you do?

You may not leave your sphere of perception. You may not communicate with anything outside of your own mind, the universe in front of you, or yourself. You *may* look at yourself, and you *may* look at the universe in front of you. That is, and has been for as long as you can remember, and will be forevermore, all you are capable of doing.

What do you do?

How do you pass the time?

What do you do, forever and ever and ever?
