If you're a female and you want to know why we're here then read this

If you couldn't tell from reading the description of our sub, this is a place for men to discuss being men without being attacked or judged for it. We live in a gynocentric society that constantly lays out the narrative that women are victims and men are the oppressors. This couldn't be further from the truth. Men have been drafted to war, we have no reproductive rights or even a way to prevent pregnancy, we have no protection from women sexually or physically abusing us, we are held to a different standard than women, and are often times shamed and blamed for simply being male. This is not a place for men that hate women but for men who want to simply live their lives and not be judged or penalized for it.<br><br>If you're here as a curious by-stander, I invite you to listen to our stories and perspectives and try to understand where we're coming from. Subs like r/AskTeenGirls, r/AskTeenBoys (even though most are teenage girls anyways, notice how that is), r/TwoXIndia, r/AskWomen, r/babybump, and many others are filled with people making fun of men and laughing at how insecure we are, as if we are the ones attacking and bullying them. Scroll through and look at the questions they ask us and make fun of us for not being interested in "feminine traits" or their genitals. If you have been mislead by the media and people around you and are here because you see us as being less than you because of your sex, than you're in the wrong place. <br><br>If you're here because you're angry and want to "educate" us, than you're also in the wrong place. Have you ever wondered why men like those of us on this sub exist? Instead of attacking us or accusing us of being misogynists, listen to what we have to say and try to understand where we're coming from. If you don't like the things that we've gone through and the things we talk about than do something about it. We don't want your pity but it would be nice if people like you could see that men are human beings too.
