I'm not into CP. I'm not into certain other things that are illegal. Why do I have to defend myself from people assuming I'm a pedophile or child abuser or zoophile or fur fucker just because I'm on this site?

Sorry to post about this here but I need to vent because I just saw a thread in r/disabilityright on a scale of 1-10 how much of a pedophile are you, and the first comment was "I'm not into k**s but I want to make it illegal to be on any social media platform that allows children and not report child sexual abuse, I want to make it illegal for any adult to be in the same room as a child if there's not another adult in the room, I want to make it mandatory to report any child in danger to the authorities. A child is anyone under 18, including teenagers. I want to make it illegal to be in the same room as a teenager if you're an adult and you're not a child yourself, even if there's another adult in the room with you, it's your responsibility to report any adult who's in the same room as a teenager, it's your responsibility to go to the police and get them arrested and put in prison for being in the same room as a teenager, even if they're the teenager's parents, just get them put in prison and take away their children and their homes and everything else they own, force them to live on the streets or in a cardboard box or tent city outside of a city, this is what we must do to protect children." Cue a long list of upvoted replies agreeing with them. <br><br>I'm so fucking sick of this virtue signaling that demands certain topics be discussed in a certain way. I'm sick of people being treated as suspects first and innocent until proven guilty second. I'm sick of people assuming everyone else is a horrible person because a few people are horrible people. I don't want to live in a world where everyone is on edge and suspicious of everyone else and treating people like suspects. I want to live in a world where people are treated as friends until proven otherwise. I don't want to live in a world where we punish people for not following arbitrary rules about how to talk and act and what topics are morally acceptable to discuss.
