Real doozies doing my washing

I was doing my washing today and a couple of guys came in who were obviously homeless, who were there do their washing. No issue there. When it came to putting their stuff in the dryer, one guy realised he didn't have enough for the dryer, so gets his underwear out and puts them on. Upstairs is the local chemist, so I asked the worker if they had any spare coins - she gave me a $5 and I gave it to one of the guys to put in the dryer, while the other guy went around scrounging for coins.

Anyway - one guy is scrounging, the other guy is topless, so he takes his top off and Tie it around his head, while the other guy has put on his undies and also decides to wear his shirt around his head. Another person comes in to do their washing, a teenage girl, and her eyes go wide and she mouths 'is he ok?'

This is when I notice he's wearing his Tie around his head, with his shirt covering one eye like a bandana. He was just staring out the window, basically doing nothing, and his mate is walking around, looking high as all hell, while making strange noises. His shirt was around his head, like Amish guy with a mullet.

They go down the street to the bottle shop and the topless guy comes back without his head attire, but wearing a bandana with a middle finger print on it. I'm assuming his mate didn't have enough money for his washing and he sold/gave away his head stuff.

They finally finish their washing and are walking out, when the girl goes past them and says 'You guys look doozies!!!' They both look at me and I laugh and say 'no, not me'.

Anyway - I finish my washing and go upstairs to the chemist and tell them the story, and the drug and alcohol counsellors say it's basically a war cry when they wear their shirts on their heads - a call to arms as it were - and they're obviously on the gear, and the finger print doozie bandana, is an 'I don't give a fuck bandana - you know, like a fuck you to the world.

No one ever tells you how multi dimensional drug addiction is.

Anyway - hope you enjoyed this story.
