What the fuck is with the increase in benzodiazepine prices on the street?

I remember Xanax being 5$ (1) 2mg pill 2 years ago. Now everyone wants 10$ a pill. Klonopin even more.<br><br>I live in the US, so I don’t know if it’s just my town, surrounding areas, or if it’s on a larger scale. <br><br>What the fuck is going on? I cannot and will not pay 10$ a pill when I take 2-4 a day as needed. I don’t have health insurance, so getting a script is out of the question unless I want to shell out another 200$ to go to urgent care. <br><br>I don’t know what to do.<br><br>Edit: I take them as needed for my generalized anxiety disorder, and no I cannot function without them.
