Finding a breeder with no waiting list?

I'm doing some research with different breeders. I'm looking for a puppy around Nov 2024. I've come across several breeders with a waiting list already that are taking deposits with a 2-3 year waiting list. I'm not sure if I want to wait that long. I was wondering if anyone has some advice on how to find a breeder who has puppies already born and available to be picked up or will have puppies available in the next year. I've been visiting with tons of breeders and getting on their lists but a lot of them have pups already spoken for. I've had 3 breeders message me saying they are not breeding anymore because they have to many of their own to find forever homes for and they can't take in more. Advice?
