What if we lost the ability to throw things?

As of today, human beings lost the ability to throw things. No matter how hard you try all you can manage to do is lob the object you are holding about six inches in front of you. What are the implications of this and how does the world adapt. Are there any groups of people that are capable of throwing things still and if so how do they react?
