I'm a former Christian, I know their play book

One reason I don't think many of us here are actual Christians is that we don't react like them. I consider myself a witch, a pagan, a spiritual eclectic. i've read tarot cards for myself and for other people, done Reiki and other forms of energy work, and I've worked "magic". I've been drilled in the Christian playbook, and I know how they think.

If I were a Christian, I would have blocked all of you, prayed for you, forgiven you and gone on with my life. I might have tried to witness to you in a gentle fashion, spoken to a pastor or other "mature" Christian who might give me advice. I would have thought of you as a "baby Christian" or prayed for your healing from your obvious mental health issues. I would not have tried to pick a fight with you. I would not answer questions that were too hard. I would have trusted that Jesus would bring you back to the fold.

As someone who isn't a Christian, I want to know why. I want to know why you think you're right and everyone else is wrong. I want to know why you think your Sky Daddy has the right to pick and choose who goes to heaven and who ends up in hell. I want to know why you think you should be allowed to make laws for the rest of us, especially since I don't think you should. (That's a basic tenet of witchcraft, by the way. Do no harm, and let others do as they will unless it's harming you or those you love.) I want to know why you think you have the right to tell anyone else how to live.

I'm going to give you this one bit of advice: if you're not smart enough to answer the questions we're asking, go away. You don't belong here.
