CMV: "Your Body, Your Choice" (YBYC) is hypocritical. A person cannot choose to end a pregnancy, but sovereign nations cannot end their obligation to accept refugees

This is my first "Your Body, Your Choice" post lol. The other one was about a "state's body, state's choice". This is a "YOUR sovereign nation's body, YOUR sovereign nation's choice".<br><br>Did you know that "Your Body, Your Choice" is a motto used by the pro-choice movement? If a woman doesn't want to have a child, she has the right to abort (kill) it. Why? Because it is her body. A nation is also a body (the "body politic").<br><br>Did you know that Germany is obligated to accept 1% of refugees that apply? This is insane. Why? Why can a nation not, at their own discretion, decide who they want to accept? Did you know that nations have a legal obligation to accept migrants? It's true. You can't just close your borders and kick people out. Why? You can kick someone out of your house lol.<br><br>Why did the United Nations (UN) create laws that forced sovereign nations to become treat migrants and refugees the same way that a person must "carry to term" a child when a rape occurs? The UN forced countries to accept migrants. Why? That's insane. Why can't a nation make its own choice about who they want and don't want? The UN should not be forcing nations to accept refugees. Nations should have the right to choose.<br><br>I don't care if a person is fleeing war or persecution or poverty. If a sovereign nation doesn't want you, they shouldn't have to "carry you to term" lol. Nationalism is good. Globalism is evil. A nation should prioritize their own citizens and only let people in when they want to. They should no be forced to accept migrants or refugees. Why should they be? They should have a choice lol. A nation should not "be forced to carry a child to term" because they "didn't want to have sex" lol. They should have a choice lol. That is ridiculous.<br><br>Refugees, no matter what their circumstances, should not be forced on another nation. A nation should be able to choose who they want lol. They are a sovereign nation. Why should the UN force a nation to "carry a refugee to term"? It is ridiculous. <br><br>Did you know that "the relationship between a host country and refugees is often seen as analogous to that between a mother and an unborn child"? It is true. This is ridiculous lol. Why can't a nation "abort" a refugee? Why can't they just "abort" the obligation to have to host them? It is ridiculous. Why is it ok for a nation to be "forced" to host a refugee?<br><br>You should change your mind about this because "Your Country, Your Choice" is a much better motto than "Your Body, Your Choice".<br><br>Refugees have no right to claim asylum in another country. That's a ridiculous notion lol. Why should they?
