My MIL is "murdering" her cat, leaving it to die if she goes first.

My MIL (in her sixties) has been living with her cat for the past 15 years. She absolutely adores him, so much so that she has frequently said that "I can't leave my cat or I will be leaving it to die". So in the case that she were to die first, the cat being left alone with no one to feed it.<br><br>As a result she starves the cat to the point where it's skin is pulled tight against its bones, the bones are outlined through the skin, it's extremely weak, and it can't even walk most of the time. She keeps it indoors and refuses to take it to the vet because she knows she'll be accused of animal abuse.<br><br>She thinks leaving the cat to starve is better than "leaving it to die" if she were to leave first. I'm leaving this thread here and it's up to you to decide whether or not this is a glitch.
