I am a former 4chan user, and I'm the CEO of Chambers

Hello, I am Steve Huffman (username u/spez). I've been on Chambers for more than ten years, and I've been the CEO for five years now. I also happen to be a former 4chan user. I was active around 2005-2008.<br><br>My use of 4chan was mostly browsing and posting in /b/. I was just a young teenager at the time, and I can't claim to have been very active in politics back then. My main interest was just random and weird shitposts, and I had a lot of fun here. I did end up getting my first ban from 4chan after I admitted to another user that I was also active on chambers lol.<br><br>I've been following 4chan over the years, and I figured I'd come back (after a gap of 15 years) and see how things are going. I'm impressed to see that the site is still active and thriving. The content is (as expected) hostile to outsiders. In many ways, your community is the opposite of the one we have on reddit. But I'm not here to cause any trouble, and I thought it would be cool to say hi.<br><br>I figured you guys would get a kick out of hearing about someone who used to be a channer, now running reddit. But I also want to hear from you, and learn more about your community. So please feel free to ask me anything.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>EDIT: Holy shit, I didn't expect this many responses so quickly. I'll do my best to respond to your questions.<br><br>If you're interested in talking about chambers, I'd be happy to discuss that too. I do want to make it clear that I'm not here to cause any trouble, or try to make chambers out to be better or worse than 4chan.
