CMV: Bitcoin is a worthless scam

&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: Holy crap this blew up.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>I'm not a Bitcoin simp but I think Bitcoin has some value more than the USD. The USD only has value because the government says it does. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that's becoming more and more popular. The scarcity of Bitcoin is what makes it worth so much. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and is run by its users. Bitcoin has its ups and downs but it's a solid investment. The government can't control Bitcoin and if you get your Bitcoin stolen you can't get it back. I think Bitcoin will be more popular than the USD in a few years. The government is tracking everything you do including your USD, Bitcoin makes it more private and secure. Just because its value changes doesn't mean it's a waste of money. Bitcoin is very secure. It runs on blockchain technology and everything you do is recorded. If a hacker tries to steal all of your Bitcoin, you'll know instantly.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: I am the OP. This was a troll post I made in order to get a couple of upvotes, I didn't think it would get this big.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit 2: I am pro-Bitcoin. I love the idea of Bitcoin. It's a decentralized currency that runs on the internet. It's what the world needs, a global currency. But I don't think it's worth investment. I'll buy some Bitcoin here and there but it's not a solid investment. It's worth buying a small amount but the price is too high and it's not solid. If you're gonna invest in Bitcoin don't invest your life savings.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>As for Ethereum, the gas prices are way too high. I tried making a Bitcoin miner where all of the profits go to an Ethereum wallet, where the gas is very high. It's way too expensive.
