Just got out of a zoom discussion with a Russian and Chinese guy and I feel we are fucked

I just got out of a zoom call with a couple of guys from China and Russia. This was about development of a software product we are doing together with them. I am in the US and our team is half American, half Chinese. <br><br>We were discussing a development approach that our Chinese software team we are working with was recommending. Their suggestion was wrong imho. So I told them so. This was met with a ton of support from both the Russian and Chinese guy. I thought this was weird. Both were adamant that my suggestion is wrong, yet our Chinese team seemed to go along with my suggestion. <br><br>Anyway, I disagree with the approach and I thought I was wrong cause we are 1 against 3. I asked to run a test cause we are wasting the group's time. The Russian guy in the call made the comment that us Americans don't run tests and when I asked him why do you say we are like that he responded that we Americans say we are great cause we have been so far and we don't test anything before releasing it. I wanted to tell him to fuck off but I didn't want to rock the boat. I went ahead and ran the test on the chinese approach and it showed their approach was wrong. I asked the Chinese guy why is your approach not the best fit here. His response floored me. He said, our approach is wrong here, but I wanted to give the Russian guy an opportunity to be correct. <br><br>I am now worried. I think our allies are going to support the Chinese/Russian approach anyways cause they know we are not the best. What fucking world do they live in. I am now worried cause we are fucked anyways cause our allies want to see China/Russia win. I am wondering how much of this goes on on other zoom calls.
