I hate how people on chambers talk down to anyone who doesn’t have a degree

I’m not saying it’s everyone but I’m sick of seeing posts like this on every single subreddit. You can be very smart and capable without a degree and you can be a moron and have multiple degrees. The same 2 sided argument about student loans and getting a good job could go on forever but if you think the vast majority of people with degrees make more money than people without them then you’re crazy. Don’t get me wrong there are some jobs that obviously require one like doctor, lawyer, engineer etc but I know tons of successful people who went straight to working a job out of high school. They obviously aren’t all going to become millionaires but they can make some good money. I also know people who have a degree in a useless field who can barely make ends meet because the jobs in that field are either 1. So competitive you’re basically guaranteed to get rejected 2. Don’t pay well. I’m not against education obviously but it’s not for everyone and I’m sick of people saying you’ll be stupid and make no money if you don’t go to college.
