does anyone else forget about the stuff they buy?

its crazy how much stuff i forget about, im not that broke so i should maybe put more thought into what i buy but i use everything. i forget about it so often, my nephew asked me if i still had a book bag that i bought like 3 years ago and completely forgot about it and used it less than 5 times. forget what clothes i have. i like buying stuff so i guess im not that mad but forget about it so often its like putting stuff from the grocery cart into the car, past that point i dont remember. its nuts. does this happen to anyone else?
