My ex girlfriend is Daisy Ridley (Rey) from the new Star Wars films

First off, apologies for posting about celebs...not usually the vibe here. But what I’m going to post may be much more relevant and interesting to this sub than you might think. Also this was all from 2017 before The Last Jedi came out. I’m not posting to talk shit about her or to talk down on her, she’s truly one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. I’ve been thinking about her all day because I just moved into a new flat, and one of the items I was moving was a painting she did for me that I keep on my wall. It’s amazing. Anyways, on to what I’ve come here to say. <br><br>So, we obviously talked a great deal about the pressures of filming and things like that. She had been having a rough time adjusting to the lack of privacy and the constant scrutiny. She talked about how Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) had taken her under his wing because he knew what it was like to go through what she was going through. Now, here is the interesting part. She said that Mark had warned her about something called the Hollywood pedophile ring, and how they target young stars, and that she should be careful. I didn’t know much about this, but when I Googled it I found a ton of info about it on this sub. <br><br>She was very serious about the topic. I don’t know if she had experienced anything, but she was obviously not comfortable talking about it and it was something Mark had brought to her attention. <br><br>Also, while this isn’t necessarily relevant to this sub, she talked about how she hated the way the films were going, and that JJ had completely disregarded her ideas for the direction of her character. She went on to say how she would have loved for episode 9 to be completely fan service, and that in an ideal world she would have gotten her way on what happened in the film (and we all know how that turned out, haha!). <br><br>Anyways, thought I would share that here as I know this topic has been talked about a lot.
