Lithuanians made fun of me for my Beijs surname

So I'm a slave living in the UK, I'm originally Lithuanian but I'm American. I've been living in the UK for a couple of years and I've had my share of racism but I just ignore it. <br><br>So some people asked me how do Lithuanians pronounce the "P" Beijs and I said Bijs. They started laughing and I just ignored them. I wonder if I hurt Lithuanians' feelings or somethin? <br><br>I sometimes wonder if I should distance myself from my Lithuanian heritage but it's stuck with me kinda like how I'm stuck in this slave country.
