Is my (26M) boyfriend (25M) always in the bookstore as a ploy to get a date with a guy?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years. A few months ago, he was in the middle of getting his degree, but really wanted a job to help pay for our apartment since I had just moved in with him. He got a job at our local used bookstore working part time during the day everyday, even with classes. It feels like everyday he's gone and I'm at home alone. He talks about work and the regulars who go in all the time really often. There is one guy he talks about who I think he might have a crush on, or possibly already be dating. He's always talking about this guy coming in and a book that he recommended that the man bought. The man comes in all the time and they have their little exchanged everyday and my boyfriend loves it. Everytime he talks about this guy I want to scream. He's always like, "Oh, isn't it great that he buys the books I recommend? He's so nice and I love him." He always talks about how good looking he is too. He never talks about me like this. Even if he doesn't like me anymore, he could at least pretend so we can stay together.

How do I approach my boyfriend about the fact that it seems like he's got a crush on this guy? Should I be worried that he is working at the bookstore everyday as a way to meet and get with other guys? What should I do in this situation?

TL;DR: Boyfriend got a part time job at a used bookstore and it seems like he spends a lot of time talking to a regular male customer and might be developing a crush on him.
