I’m not being paranoid, but it seems like big pharma has colluded to keep the prices of most medicines we use extremely high. I am not talking about stuff like Tylenol, or other branded things. <br><br>Aspirin is a great example. It’s 2.50 / 100 pills in the US. Why? It’s not like there is competition, drug companies have a monopoly on aspirin, it can’t be made at home. But yet it’s dirt cheap.<br><br>It’s honestly even dirt cheap in other countries. <br><br>I can see how it would be expensive in developing countries, but why would it even be cheap in countries like Switzerland? <br><br>Why did drug companies collude to keep the prices of this one drug low?
