Boyfriend came home from a night out and I found a condom wrapper in his pocket

I (24/F) went to my boyfriends (28/M) sisters wedding on Saturday. We flew in on Friday, and stayed until Sunday afternoon. The night of the wedding, my boyfriend left before I did (I was helping clean up/bringing gifts back to the hotel) and he said he was going to head back to the hotel and he was already tired and was probably going to go to bed. He was drinking during the wedding, but not that much and said he was wondering if he might have been coming down with something because he was tired and sick to his stomach. <br><br>I finished up and headed back to the hotel, when I got there my boyfriend was already passed out in bed, so I crawled in next to him and went to sleep. Saturday was a relaxed day for us, and we went out for dinner and then I went to take a nap at the hotel because I was tired and wasn’t feeling great. My boyfriend said he was going to go explore, and that’s fine because I don’t really know the area where his home grown. I fell asleep almost immediately and when I woke up he was back. He brought me a glass of water and said he was going to the fitness center at our hotel to work out for a bit. He was gone for about 45 minutes-1 hour, and he got back and we ordered room service and watched a movie until we went to bed. <br><br>I was packing my luggage in the morning to leave, and he was getting some things together to take back home, and I asked if I could wash his jeans that he wore at the wedding because he said they were stained and he wanted to get that out before he put them away. I emptied his pockets, and there was a condom wrapper, and some cash. I didn’t say anything to him, and I immediately threw the wrapper in the trash. <br><br>I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 years, and we do use condoms sometimes (I have an IUD, so we don’t always). I know that wrapper was not from our encounter Friday night because I had disposed of it. I was going to ask him about it, but I just got so mad that I didn’t. <br><br>I am just so confused because he was with me at the wedding, he came back to the hotel before I did, and when he left me on Saturday I was sleeping. Where/when would he have used a condom? I know the wrapper was not old, because we haven’t used protection since before we left for the wedding. <br><br>I am just so confused, and I have no idea what to do or think. What should I ask him? Should I confront him about it, or just let it go and assume it’s not a big deal? I am just really unsure about what to do, and my brain has been going crazy with possibilities.
