I have been thinking about an event from my childhood for the last few days, and it is really bizarre

I'm 21 years old and have been thinking about how my brother was kidnapped when he was 8 years old, and I was 7. This incident happened at a park on a summer vacation, and a woman came up to us and said "are you lost" because my brother was crying. She said she was going to take him to lost and found, so I said "no you can't go with her I don't like it". So she said "yes come with me, I'm your mom". She was not my mom. I told her to fuck off basically, and she walked away. So I feel like I basically saved my brother from being kidnapped. I told my mom when I got home, and she was furious. I never saw that lady again after that. I don't think anything like this has ever happened in real life. It seems like something that would happen in a movie.
