Being chronically late all the time is 100% a choice

Always being late is nothing more than a choice, it's not a laughable quirk you should laugh off and just "accept" people for doing. It's rude and shows a complete lack of respect for the other person. If you're constantly showing up 30 minutes late to things, that's your choice and you're a rude asshole.
