Anyone ever find a shoplifters stash and report it to police?

I have this neighbor. I don't think he has a job as he is home most of the time. He usually keeps his blinds down but yesterday they were up and I was able to see in his window. I was shocked because his whole room was filled with Clooney underwear and toothbrushes, and stuff.
