My (29F) boyfriend (29M) wants to break up cause I wouldn’t have sex with him whenever he wants.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months and things were good between us, we had a lot of fun together, did a lot of stuff and he seemed to be very serious about me, telling me he wanted to marry me in the future and stuff. We also live together. <br><br>This problem started around 4-5 months into us dating. Basically, he expected me to always have sex with him whenever he wanted. He was very pushy and would push me onto the bed and try to have sex with me without consent, even when I would say no and try to fight it. I have been raped in the past and this brought back a lot of bad memories. <br><br>I told him how I felt and asked him to give me more control over when we have sex and to give me space. He said we couldn’t and that he wanted to have sex all the time. When I wouldn’t have sex with him he would yell at me and tell me that I was his property or that he would get some elsewhere. <br><br>Around 3 weeks ago, after he tried to force himself onto me again, I told him that I couldn’t keep going like this and that he needed to respect me. He suddenly got very calm and told me that he can’t be with someone who doesn’t want to have sex with him all the time and said he wants to break up. I was shocked and try to talk to him but he wasn’t having it. He said that we couldn’t be together anymore and that we can only be friends from now on. <br><br>I’m Heartbroken I really loved him and I can’t believe it’s over. What can I do to make him change his mind? <br><br>Also for context, we are both South Asian, I’m Indian and he’s Pakistani.
