Am I just deluding myself?

My dad's sister (my aunt) and I got into a talk about relationships. I told her how I was never able to find a girlfriend (17) and she told me "no, you're absolutely not ugly at all, you're a very handsome young man." I'm not sure if she's just saying it out of pity, though.<br><br>Edit: I'm by no means trying to be rude to anyone or anything, I'm just wondering if she was being truthful, as she's a woman. (Not saying that doesn't mean much)
