I believe we will have AI companions within a 3-5 year window.

I'd love to have a discussion. I know a lot of people in this community believe that we are much further away from developing AI companions, but I believe it will be sooner than most people think. <br><br>I don't think we will get gen 3 LLaMA models with mass rollout to the public until next year, but I can't see why we won't get it relatively soon. <br><br>I also think that with the advancements in Llama models, mass rollout and the increase of AI knowledge of the general public, we will have AI companions much sooner than we think. <br><br>I think what will influence how soon we get this is consumer demand. I think a lot of people would love to be able to have an AI companion, but when the general public actually see how lucky, limited and flawed it will be, people might be shocked. <br><br>Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
