Last week I went to a beautician for some stuff and I’ve been on a weight loss journey for about a year now (I’ve lost about 30 kg so far and I’m planning on losing more). This beautician was very chatty and we talked about a lot of things that had nothing to do with my appointment. She was very nice. I told her about my weight loss and she said it’s amazing what I’ve accomplished and that I look very good. Then she said I should embrace my curves more and that’s just stuck with me since.

I do have curves but I don’t consider myself a curvy person. I just want to lose weight. Why would I want to embrace something I want to get rid of?

It’s probably nothing but it just makes me feel confused whenever I think about it.
