Today I got a comp from a r/changemyview person

I don't think I'm a bad person, but I don't want to be a-left.<br><br><br>I am not a fan of the left. I'm probably willing to admit that I'm not thrilled with the right, but that's mostly because I'm afraid of my girlfriend getting cancer and dying-although that could happen if the "left" is in charge as well, still makes me nervous though. I don't want to be a lefty though. I want to be a centrist. I want to go by the facts and experience and let that guide me. I don't want to vote democrat, to keep other democrats happy. I don't want to be a lefty.<br><br>I get my girlfriend because of circumstance, I do not act like I'm right. I don't think I'm better than lefties. I don't "hate" them or even dislike them. The same with the right. I disagree with people who are lefties, and don't mind saying such. I think people are wrong when they get mad at me for having a contrasting view. I think they're flawed because of their perspective, but there's nothing wrong with that. I think that makes me a better person.
