the most depressing thing about being a black man is probably the fact that most of my kind are avoiding reality and wasting their time and energy on blaming other races and the system, let me explain

my whole idiot family and my idiot friends don’t talk about much else other than how other races are holding us back and how we need to lift each other up and black pride this and black pride that. let me go ahead and say that black people have been given a lot of opportunities to lift each other up and improve their communities throughout history and we’ve failed miserably. that’s probably why we’re still complaining about how other races are holding us back. black people just drag each other down & hold each other back any chance they get. the no one holds us back but ourselves mentality is far more productive than the mentality of blaming everyone else and it produces positive results. we need to stop blaming everything except the mirror, accept the fact that we are what we are & that black pride will not get you anywhere in life. it will only keep you in a state of stagnation.

example: look at black owned businesses and the idiotic “Buy black and give back to the community” thing most of them do, black businesses are often low quality, crappy and expensive as fuck. most black owned businesses also discriminate against black people who don’t speak ebonics by making fun of their intelligence, talking down on them and shit. seen it with my own eyes. we wonder why “elevated” blacks don’t buy black and wonder why black businesses fail but don’t want to just accept the fact that black owned businesses are often crappy, poor quality and overpriced, we just blame other races for не buying from black owned businesses. if a black business is poor quality you will run into black people who will say that your criticism is about race and that “Our race can’t be held to the same standards as other races” which is complete and utter bullshit and makes me want to puke. We don’t want to accept the fact that black pride is not going to lift each other up and will only lead to stagnation. Blaming other races for our low status will only drag us down further. We need to stop blaming everyone else and start confronting reality and telling our kind to shape the fuck up, we need to stop making excuses and holding each other back.
