Realistically if we were to suddenly switch to a man's wage gap, do you think you could deal with the attitudes and stereotypes that come with being paid less?

Let's assume all of a sudden men earn 34% less than women. Do you believe you could deal with peoples attitudes in regards to this? When asking people if they think women should earn more than men to close the pay gap, I assume many say yes because they don't really deeply think about it, or think it'll actually happen. But do you think you could actually deal with it, living day in day out with the fact that you earn less than a woman. You will get paid less for the exact same job, whether you work harder than your female coworker or not, you WILL get paid less.

You will get comments like "You don't deserve to get paid the same because you don't work as hard or put the same effort in as women do". Even if you do work hard, you will still hear these comments because there are people that believe this, they just won't openly talk about it because men get paid more not less. If we were to switch it, there would be more people openly saying these things, because there would be no social repercussions for the most part. Just like there isn't for people that say these kinds of things about women now.

Suddenly all the things that are currently seen as traditionally masculine jobs will be looked down on, because they'll be "male jobs". Suddenly being a stay at home dad will be a perfectly fine thing, and being a working dad will make you seem like a deadbeat or an asshole. Suddenly all the traditionally masculine hobbies like lifting and video games and sports will be seen as s***** and useless activities that prove mens worthlessness.

Your self-respect and confidence will be chipped away at constantly, because nowadays people just accept this stuff as a part of their lives. "Oh, I'm just a piece of shit man after all" "Oh, I'm just a burden on society" This kind of thinking. Do you think you could deal with that? I doubt it.
