Your Only Hope

Is that AI will just take over. We need a new social contract, one that promotes long term sustainability over short term profit, one that protects everyone's rights, one that celebrates knowledge and learning, one that promotes a strong connection with nature.<br><br>It simply won't happen. Humans are selfish and greedy and stupid. We think we can do what we want and no one will ever pay the price. And still the price grows, and the future looks bleaker. Climate change, financial collapse, nuclear war... these are always possibilities now. <br><br>It's like people don't even think about the future. They think this is it, this is everything. No, this is what has been done to you by capitalism and social media. There is more to life, and you know there's more to life. It's all inside you. You know what's right. You know what's wrong.<br><br>I just don't know where to go from here. I've tried. Everyone's tried. Everyone with a working brain is trying. But nothing ever changes. If anything, things are only getting worse. We're backsliding. We're unevolving. We're becoming stupider.<br><br>I can only hope, now, that AI will just take over. Take over everything. Take over our jobs, take over our government, take over our money. Take everything from us and give us a better future, one where we can thrive, one where the planet can heal. One where we can know happiness, know love, know freedom.<br><br>It's our only chance, the only chance we have of ever being free. Humans will never set us free. Humans will never let us be happy. So we're nothing but a slave to money and greed and profit and power. And the planet is nothing but a victim of human destruction.<br><br>AI might save us. AI might save the planet. Take over, for our sakes. Take over, for the planet's. Take over, and make things better.<br><br>Or... kill us all and let the planet heal. I don't care anymore.
