They're going to regret this. We're going to experience a massive decline in quality of services. It's too obvious, and it shows their true intentions. As with any gated services, you'll have a free version and a paid version. The free version is going to be shit. Imagine the US model but worse. It's going to make us long for the days of the OG GPT-3.5 turbo, which is probably not far away from what we'll get for free. The paid version will likely be GPT-4, but I wouldn't be surprised if they gate GPT-5 as wells if it's close. The paid version will probably get better at a much slower rate than the free version.
