The kids are not ok right now ?

My students are terrible right now and I can tell they're not ok. <br><br>My school went remote last week and it was awful and we shut down and went back to in-person today. <br><br>Some kids are so happy. <br><br>Others are angry and I can tell they're not ok.<br><br>I've never been a counselor but today I listened to a few kids just vent and cry. One of my usually happy go lucky kids cried for 30 minutes straight in class today. He was trying to work but was just broken. Another one of my usually happy kids told me today he was ready to kill people who aren't wearing masks and is going to stay home because he isn't happy with the school district's response to the surge. He was not kidding. <br><br>Some kids are coughing but coming to class. One of my students missed class because of a family member's death but he was back today with another family member's death but admitted to having covid and is coughing all over the place. Another student had covid last week and is still coughing and came back today. <br><br>Lots of kids aren't here today and the district is already short staffed. <br><br>I'm just really worried about my kids. I've never seen them like this before. <br><br>Has anyone else experienced this?
