What is wrong with this country?

I am reading a Chambers thread and a woman is asking what to do because she is pregnant in Texas. She doesn’t want to be but has no way of getting an abortion due to the laws. I read some of the comments and I honestly want to puke. How can people so happily want women to be forced to have abortions? How can anyone say “it’s a sin to abort” but then act like that? How can anyone say that women don’t deserve a choice in their own bodies? I am a man, I cannot (thankfully) get pregnant and know it’s not my choice to make but I just cannot believe that people can be so cruel and act so nicely about it.
