For those who don’t know, this is a quote from priest John Donne: “God’s existence is proven by the fact that there is no atheist on a sinking ship.”<br><br>How atheist could you be knowing that you’re going to die soon and there’s no way to save your life on a sinking ship. Logically, atheist would start praying to God even if they don’t believe in Him because even with the smallest chance of God listening to you, death is scary.<br><br>In other way around, nobody is praying to God because of their belief in Him, they’re just praying because it makes them feel better, and because it might even work.
