The Supreme Court heard a case today that could lead to the reversal of a decades old precedent over a woman’s right to an abortion. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds that Americans overall do not want the Court to completely overturn the landmark decision establishing a woman’s constitutional right to an abortion. That being said, Americans are divided on the issue and over a third of Americans support overturning the decision. Americans are split on what type of restrictions they support, but a majority favors some form of access as the Court decides the fate of the precedent.
