I found a note at the gas station from someone who is being held against their will

I live in Texas and I was visiting a small town a couple of hours from my home when I made a stop at the local gas station (the only one in the town). I was purchasing my snacks for the road and I found a note in my bag of chips. It said “I’m being held against my will. If you find this call 911.” And then there were directions to the location where the note was written.<br><br>Being that I’m a woman who travels alone frequently, I figured it would be worth checking out. I called 911 from the gas station and told them about the note. They asked me if I could go to the location. I told them it was over an hour away from me and I couldn’t do it. They thanked me and told me they would take care of it.<br><br>I kept wondering what would happen. Would the police find someone who was in danger? Was it even real? I called the police department in the town where the address was and they said they hadn’t heard anything about it. I realized that I lived in a different county than where this address was, so I called 911 again. They thanked me for letting them know and told me that they would contact the correct authorities.<br><br>I still have no idea what happened. I like to think that the person was found, but it was over four months ago and I’ll probably never know.<br><br>Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen to them? I’m just now thinking about all these unexplained experiences I’ve had in my life.
