Being a family drug addict

I'm 23, 18 years old sister, 24 year old brother, and 50 something mother all live in the same house. We all drink and do drugs together. We have no mental issues, we are capable of working, we never got in trouble with drugs or alcohol....we just live happily ever after in this unhealthy and toxic behaviour. What glitch is this?
