Yes this is a ThrowRA, however i do have 2 karma whoring posts on r/confession so if you want more info feel free to check it.<br><br>So a little back story, i was a convicted felon, and already on probation and parole for the charge of Burglary with Intent to commit a Felony and Larceny from a Building. The charge is a 10 year Felony with 5 years probation. The only reason i was out was that my Public Defender got my case postponed for a year and then i was sentenced to 2 years with 1 year served (it was 2 days shy of a year so i only served 2 days). I was on Parole for 2 years and Probation for 5 years. I got of Parole about 4 months before this incident.<br><br>So it was December 2017 and i was on winter break from college, i had just received my refund for the Fall 2017 semester and it was a little under $1000. I get a call from my friend asking if i wanted to go to Detroit, Michigan (i live in Michigan as well but the city i live in is about an hour and a half south of Detroit). So i tell him sure i haven't been in a while i'll just take the week off of work and go with. He comes and picks me up, i don't have a car and i live in a rural area so i couldn't get one.<br><br>So we get to detroit and we meet up with some of his friends from high school and they are all excited to take my out to some bars/clubs. I'm not much of a drinker i can't stand the taste but i can eat a whole pizza by myself. I also forgot to tell you i haven't drank in about a year at this point so i was a lightweight to say the least.<br><br>I was trying to find someone to take me to the grocery store to get some snacks, and this cute girl said she would take me so we went in her car. It Locke and I forgot the exact words but pretty much she asked me if i wanted to rob some stores with her. She had done it a few times and she knew how to do it, she just needed someone to come with her. I told her the first two stores no, but than we were walking past a H&M she asked if i wanted to go in. So i said sure. I'll be the dummy in this case.<br><br>So we parked in the parking garage across the street (it was literally connected to the store) and we walked into H&M. I'm not going to tell you how we did it exactly, but we LITERALLY walked right out of the store and put the stuff in the car. We went straight to her house and hung the stuff up and later that night we went to the bar. I had a few drinks and than came home and passed out.<br><br>The next night was the same exact thing, except this time we had a few more people. She had a few girl friends come with and i found a guy that wanted to come with me. I'm not sure what he took, but i know it was something. I myself took a few shoes and some pants. We did the exact same thing the first night and i woke up the next day not feeling so good.<br><br>Now i know what you're thinking, why was i so stupid and why did i think this was a good idea. Well i didn't have a car, no licence, no way to get around, so i figured i would just suck it up and let her drive me where ever i wanted, and if i got caught i wouldn't get in trouble because i already had 2 felony charges and 1 pending Misdemeanor charge for shoplifting (i took a pack of gum from a gas station a month prior and i didn't know about it until a month later when i got a letter in the mail).<br><br>So Sunday rolls around and i tell her i need to go to the store because i have no money left. She's a little upset with me, but She takes me to a mall. We walked through about 5-6 stores and she says she's not interested in stealing from any of those. I tell her i'm hungry and want to get something to eat, so she agrees to take me to a food court, She doesn't want to eat and tells me to meet her in Dillard's when i'm done. I tell her okay and she walks off on her own. I go get a slice of pizza and sit down and eat, than i go into Dillard's. The first thing i see is her with mall cops behind her. She tries to talk and i'm just standing there like a dummy. LITERALLY a DUMMY. I don't say a word. Thank god for that.<br><br>We are escorted down to the mall security office in the parking garage. We get there and we are separated. They take me into a room and tell me to empty my pockets. I didn't know what to do so i just emptied EVERYTHING out of my pockets. They looked at me like i was stupid, and i'm just sitting there like yeah i have nothing to hide. they took my phone and called my friend. He said he would come pick me up so i had to wait for him to get there.<br><br>To sum it up, nothing came out of it. She got a year probation and 20 days in jail (served 5). I got off with a slap on the wrist because i had nothing on me, and i told them i was just having dinner and never knew she was stealing. She didn't say i was with her and i didn't say a word until the cops showed up to the security office. I just never said anything. Never said a word.<br><br>Oh and i didn't get my phone back until 2 weeks after i got home.<br><br>Edit: I know i used a few words wrong, i'm trying to watch what i say.
