How many things in tech will we still be waiting for in 2030?

I remember for a time people thought VR in a (consumer) PC format would be mainstream, but that seems like a pipe dream now thanks to standalone headsets such as Meta's and Valve's.<br><br>I (naively) thought that driverless cars would be on the road in three to five years, but it has been almost ten years since then.<br><br>For sure, humanity will find some way to move forward in other areas, but do you think we'll still be waiting for the same things we are now, such as general AI, brain computer interfaces, contact lenses for zooming in on objects, implanting chips in people, practical fusion energy, human-level robotics, and cheap universal space access?
