Joe Biden has announced his candidacy for reelection as President of the United States

Former Vice President and current President Joe Biden has officially announced his candidacy for President in the 2024 election. Biden will seek to be the next President following his current term, which ends on January 20, 2025. Before winning the presidency, Biden served six terms as Senator from Delaware, as well as under then-President Barack Obama as Vice President from 2009 to 2017.
