Me [26M] and my friend [26M] are going to the ER today after a terrible trip for my friend

My friend had a terrible trip last night on some street MDMA. He had never had a bad trip before, but was very anxious and paranoid and he couldn’t say what was wrong. He was extremely panicked, he was pacing like crazy, he would go to bed and just start crying. He then started having hallucinations and hearing voices. He wanted me to go hang with him but he would ask me “who are you?” and told me to get out of his house. I did not know if I should take him to the hospital or just keep him at home. I have had many bad trips in my time, but this was by far the worst I have ever witnessed.<br><br>I just want to say that I am not advocating for drug use. I just think people need to know what to do in case something like this happens.<br><br>[Edit] my friend is okay, he is just extremely tired. Also he said that before he came home he had gotten a little too drunk at a bar.<br><br>[Edit2] For those of you that say drugs are bad, I am sorry that you feel that way.
