AITA for telling my husband that he couldn’t come home until he had a plan for us.

We live out of state and were visiting family for the holidays. Our car broke down while out and about running errands and my husband went to have it checked out. It needed some work so he said it would be a few days until it was done.<br><br>I get a call asking me if we could come get him because they don’t do loans and he doesn’t have the money for the repairs on the car. I had just enough to get us home with some left over.<br><br>I told him I wanted to speak with the owner of the shop and he got mad and told me that it’s none of my business who he speaks to at his shop. So I told him that I wasn’t coming to get him and wouldn’t tell him where we were until he had a plan and could tell me exactly where he was, so I could come get him.<br><br>Since then, he has been calling me telling me that I’m being a bitch and a jerk and I don’t know how bad his day is going and I should just get him and bring him home.<br><br>I’m sorry, but he couldn’t tell me exactly where he was and even now still refuses to tell me the name of the garage and what’s wrong with the car. He could be anywhere with our car claiming it needs work when he just is blowing the money and the car actually is fine.<br><br>Edit: We have been married for 17 yrs. Yes, we are able to track each other through our phones. But, he turned his location off on his phone. He has never been in the shop I dropped it off at. Also, you’d be surprised at how bad the customer service is at some places. They are rude and will get mad that you question anything.
