What’s up with the massive amount of US military equipment almost constantly on its way through the Greenland/Iceland area with no mention of its destination.

Anyone from Iceland who knows what’s up? I have been following flight radar over Iceland/greenland for a almost 7 years in free time, and you see so many flights from the US, with no clear public mention of its destination. I’ve seen many of the flights being run by Atlas air and some other airlines.

What’s almost weird about these flights are they’re mainly US registered private flights almost constantly, and you can very easily spot them, because the callsign is always “CMB” followed by something like “5361”.

I’ve seen these flights from US Air force bases like Macdill, Whiteman, Dyess, Luke air force bases and so on. It seems like the flights are making a stopover in Iceland before heading to another destination, possibly to the Middle East?

The CMB flights in my opinion are the callsigns used by US air force for these types of cargo flights.

I’ve seen the flights carry usually around 10 US soldiers and 0 cargo, and other times they’re full. I have no idea what the cargo is, I sure hope it’s not nukes. Hopefully it’s not anything sinister. Please tell me it’s not sinister.

Is it the US just sending its usual military equipment to the Middle East? Anybody in Iceland ever seen what’s inside the cargo hold of these planes? Hopefully it’s not anything sinister. The US is infamous for doing shady shit around the world.

Since it seems like the US is pulling out of the Middle East, I’m really curious about what they’re sending, and it’s not for the good of the people, that’s for sure.

Edit: if you want to check the flights out yourself, you can go to VAK island in Greenland, and see all the US flights almost constantly on its way through Greenland/Iceland. Very interesting to see, and you’ll very easily spot the US military flights.

Edit 2: what’s even crazier is how you will see the same callsign used by the US, but with a completely different aircraft than before. For example, a Boeing 747 from Atlas air will do the delivery, but the next time you see the same callsign, they’re using an airbus A350, and I’m talking the same callsign number, like “CMB5361”. It’s not random, it’s the same callsigns being used by the US, the flights seem to be random, but by looking at the callsigns, you can spot the US flights almost instantly.

Is this the US doing shady shit? It’s almost like they’re hiding something, but what?
