Why "Big Bad Pakistani Muslims" did not massacre Kannadigas during the Tipu Sultan era?

When I was a young boy of 10-12 years back in the 90s, some elderly Kannadiga men would tell me, Tipu begguru, Pakistani bandu ellaru yavagluru. I used to get some weird pleasure hearing them.<br><br>Now, I realized as a 23-year-old, it's utter bullshit. Tipu Sultan was a native ruler of the entire land that Kannadigas inhabit today, but somehow he was big bad Pakistani Muslim. And then the big bad Pakistani Muslims that people talk about did not annex the land north of Kaveri river prior to that. Instead, Kannadigas were a part of the bigger telugu-speaking domain of the Vijayanagara empire, where the rulers were mostly Kannadigas, Marathas, and Telugas.<br><br>So, people near parts of modern-day TN were ruled by Uluru and Hulluru, near parts of modern-day MH were ruled by the K Kannadigas, the parts near modern-day KA were ruled by the Kannadigas again, and parts near modern-day AP were ruled again by the Kannadigas. This meant that the Kannadigas were the one people who were producing the most number of people to rule over the land that the big bad Kannadigas speak of.<br><br>But the big bad Pakistani ruled Kannadigas only in parts of the modern-day Karnataka. Tipu sultan only wanted to annex the Kannadiga speaking areas, but somehow the big bad Uluru and Hulluru were not that bad, because they were allowed to be the rulers of parts of modern-day TN during the Vijayanagara era. Also, the Kannadigas did not rule over every inch of the land that they inhabit today. The tribal Soliga people of the Western Ghats, who were not that big bad Pakistani ruled the native Kannadigas, did not have the biggest bad uluru and Hulluru ruling over them. So this theory of land entitlement only goes for the Kannadigas over every inch of the land that they inhabit today, but not for the Soligas over the land that they inhabit today.<br><br>I'm currently studying in Tamil Nadu and when I asked a Tamilian fellow if the big bad Pakistani Muslims ruled the parts of the Chola Kingdom, he said, no, they were the Kannadigas near parts of modern-day KA that were ruled by the big bad Pakistanis, not us. So, we have some Pakis ruling over Kannadigas some time in the past, and then some Kannadigas ruling over the parts of modern-day Uluru and Hulluru in the past.
