What do you think about the idea of a matriarchal society vs an egalitarian society?

So I was watching some videos and I had some opinions about it here. I don't really think a matriarchal society is the most desirable situation ever, and I don't really hate men, half my family and friends are men because I'm not one of those obsessed people, I hate the system that exists, I hate patriarchy, but I don't want a situation where women are in power and men are oppressed, I really want a society without gender roles where men and women are equal, an egalitarian society.<br><br>What do you think about it?
