What if the Sun had suddenly burned out?

I don't know how much attention this has had in the past but it's something that crossed my mind after reading some posts on Reddit. The Sun dying tomorrow is basically the end of the world and everything will be dead in a few months. <br>I would be very interested in knowing your ideas on what humans would do if we had a heads up about this, let's say we have a 10 year heads up before the Sun will burn out.
