One time I was robbed, kidnapped, tortured, and left in a field. It was the worst pizza delivery of my life. I was driving my car, which only had 1,000 miles on it at the time, when I got a call to deliver a pizza. I pulled up to the house to drop off the pizza and saw a guy answering the door. He looked a bit suspicious. When I handed him the pizza, he asked if I could come in for a minute. I should’ve just said no and walked away. But something about him seemed calm and nice, so I agreed.<br><br>He invited a few of his friends over, and they offered me a drink. I’m not much of a drinker, but I decided to have one to be polite. It tasted a bit weird, but I didn’t want to be rude, so I finished it. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the back of a car. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. The guy from the house I delivered the pizza to was driving. I was confused and disoriented, but he just laughed and kept going.<br><br>Eventually, he stopped the car and I saw a bunch of other guys. They started hitting me, and I don’t know how long it went on for. I was just praying that they wouldn’t kill me. I kept thinking about my family and how they would feel if anything happened to me. It was a hard time, but in the end, they let me go. They dropped me off in a field, and I made it home safely. After that, I was really scared to drive for a while. I was afraid of being robbed again and going through that all over again. But then I got a call from the pizza place saying they wanted to confirm my address to send flowers. I said sure and they said ok. About 30 minutes later, I hear a knock at the door and there is a pizza delivery driver with flowers. I'm still in my hospital gown and I'm like, "why are you bringing me flowers? You didn't even send them to me, yet you know my name and address. Who are you?" Then he says, "you don't remember me, do you? I'm the guy that called 911 for you. I was driving and I saw you lying in the road, bleeding and freezing. I stayed with you the whole time until the police came. And I followed the ambulance to the hospital just to see if you were ok. The pizza place let me come give you these flowers because I'm the one that ordered them." I was speechless because I didn't remember a word he was saying. I didn't even remember being in the road or a stranger staying with me. But he told me that he stayed in the hospital with me all night. That he went home, got some clothes, and went back to the hospital to sit with me. And he even picked up my car from the police station and drove it to my house for me.<br><br>I was speechless and I thanked him. He said to never thank him, that it's what anyone would have done. But he's since become one of my best friends.<br><br>So to the guys that kidnapped and tortured me, lets not meet again.<br><br>And to my friend, I'm so glad we met :)
