I've been on this platform since 2008 after lurking for almost a year. I'm not even close to one of those "old" users who have been here since 2005 but I've still seen a significant amount of change in the past decade.

The most notable change is the constant influx of people wanting to create a "studmuffin/coolchick" account so that they can fish for nudes without the risk of their s/o finding out. These accounts are easy to recognize because their profiles are always filled with nudes that are clearly not them and their entire comment history consists of "post nudes in pm or i'll block you". I've never gained the courage to ask them what their spouse's opinion is on them hanging out in a sub that sexualizes 14 year old girls but that's probably for the best.

This is a constant problem on pretty much every chamber but the problem is so prevalent on this sub that mods had to create a rule just to stop less enlightened people like me from calling them out on their shenanigans. The resulting rule is essentially a full on ban of any comment accusing people of being a code word account or mentioning the sub in a negative light.

Given how common this issue is, there really is no reason that we should have to put up with it. If someone wants to create a code word account then that is their prerogative. If the rest of us don't want to have to deal with the constant influx of degenerates then we should have the ability to make OUR OWN profiles private so that they can't interact with us.
