My mom said she used to fantasize about me

I'm a girl and my mom said she used to fantasize about me. She said she used to fantasize about me when I was little but she said she no longer has that desire toward me. I'm an adult now. I'm wondering if this is normal for parents to fantasize about their kids or is there something odd about this, not that I care. It's not like I'm mad about it or anything, I just wanted to get a separate opinion.
